Get the Ashenfall launcher and client to start playing.

Install Instructions

  1. Download the launcher — Run AshenfallLauncher.jar (requires Java 17+).
  2. Let the launcher update — It will fetch the latest client and cache automatically.
  3. Click Play — The launcher starts the RuneLite-based Ashenfall client.
  4. Log in — Use your account on the Ashenfall server (register in-game or on the website if enabled).

Requirements

  • Windows 10/11 (Mac/Linux supported with Java installed)
  • Java 17 or newer (Eclipse Temurin JDK recommended)
  • 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
  • Stable internet connection

Manual install (optional)

If you only download the client JAR, place it in a folder with the launcher. Cache files are extracted to:

%USERPROFILE%\.boneyard\jagexcache\oldschool\LIVE
